Reviews for L'Osteria di Guercinoro
Review highlights
Based on 257 reviewsL'Osteria di Guercinoro is praised for its authentic Italian cuisine, emphasizing regional, seasonal ingredients presented with care and attention to detail. Guests consistently highlight the warm, rustic atmosphere created by the unique mountain-side location and exposed rock interiors. The restaurant’s intimate size and personalized service, including knowledgeable and friendly staff, contribute to a welcoming dining experience. Patrons often note the necessity of reservations due to limited seating and high demand. Local wines and olive oil enhancements complement the homemade dishes, making it a cherished hidden gem in Brisighella for both visitors and locals seeking genuine Italian flavors in a cozy setting.
Good honest food and service, good value. Would recommend.
The hostess made sure that we felt welcomed and she took her time to explain the Italian menu to us. The food itself was very delicious and it felt like we had found a hidden gem in Brisighella. Make sure to get a reservation beforehand because it will be booked out quickly!
My friends and I passed by this tavern by chance: we were walking through the streets of Brisighella and we stopped to eat here. What can I say… everything perfect. Crazy location, the place is literally dug into the mountain and the exposed rocks make the environment rustic and warm. The lady who served us was kind, friendly and always professional (thanks again for offering us coffee). We found the food delicious, especially the potatoes and the cake.Five stars are not enough. We will be back!!!
Sshhh!! Locals hidden secret, we were just lucky to have found a reservation. Hand written menu, every dish you order is made to perfection, paired with local wine and llive oil. Total bliss, we can’t wait to be back
This is probably best described as a boutique restaurant that serves wholesome, seasonal food with ingredients sourced from the region. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The steak was exceptional. The lasagne made with a local blue-like cheese and pumpkin was noteworthy. There are only about ten tables - it would be wise to make a reservation than expect a table by just turning up. There was also only one person serving the dining room when we were there. While it did not bother us, it might be worth noting that you are unlikely to have a quick meal or constant attention. Best to go with the flow and have a languid evening.
Best meal we had in our 10 days in Italy. We were sent here by our hotel and it was such a wonderful experience. The cave is so cool and authentic, the lady who handles all the front of house is such a truly lovely person. But the food won the day, the bolognese was easily the best I have ever had in my life - so simple yet so flavorful. The steak with radicchio on top was unique and delicious.
Food made with love! We got a recommendation in the street from some local Italian people from Brisighella. Really nice place with Italian charme and style.
Really nice place. Amazing food and great service. I really recommend it!
